As any other tarot cards, the Chariot has its own meaning; which you can interpret in the needed way, based on what your consultant (or yourself) is looking for.
Let's have a few ideas of what the Chariot tarot may signifie...
The Chariot tarot in the right position:
- Easy success
- Supremacy
- Import-export company
- Financial success...
The Chariot tarot upside down:
- Overwork
- Failure
- Lack of self-confidence
As usual, you can give the negative meaning of each positive one if the card comes upside down, as well as a positive meaning to a negative one if the card comes in the right position. Therefore, in case the card comes upside down and relates to ease of success, it will mean that success might come but it's going to be harder than the consultant thought at first sight.
Let's Make Some Tarot Interpretation
So, you surely would want to learn how to make a chariot tarot interpreation. Am I wrong?
Hm... let's go.
We are going to take the example of a consultant who just signed a contract with a new employer but wonder if they got the right job for them.
Such an answer can be easily found with a tarot spread called "simple cross".
So, we take our major arcana deck and beat the cards, then we present them to our consultant and ask them to cut the deck. Once they cut the deck, we present the tarot cards face down on the table and ask our consultant to select 4 tarot cards out of the deck.
We spread the cards as follows:
- 1st card to the left of our spread area
- 2nd card to the right
- 3rd card on top of our spread area
- 4th card at the bottom so that it makes our spread look like a cross.
Let's imagine we got the following cards:
- the Wheel of Fortune
- the Hight Priestess
- the World
- the Chariot
Tarot interpretation:
So, what do these cards tell us? The Wheel of Fortune says that our consultant found the right job; which is going be financially advantageous for the person, probably even get an interesting promotion.
The High Priestess in the negative place teaches us that our consultant lacks of confidence, probably self-confidence but also looks a bit lost in this brand new environment; which might be detrimental to our consultant.
The World represents the question of our consultant - lost in a world.
And the Chariot is our answer: our consultant will enjoy their new job and have a successful career no matter what they do think right now. Chances are that, because of the meaning of the Chariot, this job will provide our consultant with a lot of excellent opportunities and will also probably lead into having our consultant to travel through the country and abroad..
What Does a Tarot Synthesis Teach Us
Because the answer to the tarot cards spread above was the Chariot, it makes the result quite accurate and doesn't really requires further information.
But, I'm pretty sure that you're a bit curious and would like to learn more about this answer. This is the reason why we're going to make a synthesis of this tarot spread.
Each card has a value. Here's the value of our four tarot cards:
- the Wheel of Fortune: 10
- the High Priestess: 2
- the World: 21
- the Chariot: 7
Total value of these 4 tarot major arcana: 10 + 2 + 21 + 7 = 40.
Sadly, no tarot card doesn't carry number 40; this is the reason why we're going to sum up 4 and 0 so that we can get a result of 4; which is the number of the Emperor tarot card.
Is our synthesis positive? Exactly! The Emperor is among the most positive tarot card major arcana and, in this example, it confirms the answer give by the Chariot arcanum.
